Ep. 041: Season 3 of Blog Fuel is Here!
And we're back from our commercial break. Welcome back, BFF! We're happy to be kicking off Season 3 of the Blog Fuel podcast with you, sharing episode 041, which we've lovingly dubbed "Summer Lovin' Had Me a Blast". You see, we've been on summer break, and now we're back, so rather than diving head first into actual learning, we're dipping our toe into podcasting again by sharing what we've been up to this summer.
It's all about the business transitions, naked bicycle riders, more Keanu, and all the children. Ready? We know you are....
SUMMER LOVIN' HAD ME A BLAST
Can we be totally honest here? Of course we can. We're BFFs.
Nobody really reads these show notes, right? Except search bots? And this episode is just for fun, so we don't care if search bots read it or not.
If they do read it, they would probably giggle a little bit. (Can search bots giggle? I'd like to think so.)
Why would they giggle, you ask? Well, probably for the same reasons you would if you'd listen to the episode instead of reading the show notes.
You see, I spent two weeks in Ireland and England this summer with my 70-year-old mother, God love her, and my 15-year-old daughter. And my 39-year-old self was smack dab in the middle of all those hormones. It was a lot.
My mom almost got hit by a bus, we saw a parade of naked people on bicycles, a little boy yelled at me for feeding "seagulls", which were actually pigeons, but he was British so I didn't correct him because British people always sound like they know what they're talking about because of those damn accents.
Erin spent her summer indoors with three boy children. Occasionally one would do something that might get him killed, and she'd have to remind them that she had two others, so it would be OK. Oh, and she and her husband decided his vacation time from work would be best spent pulling up carpet and installing hardwoods.
With three boys.
During summer break.
We're geniuses, me and Erin.
We both made some shiny transitions within our business, Erin finally honoring her calling of being a success coach for female entrepreneurs, and me doing a complete 180 with my services saying "hell no!" to email setup and "can I get an AMEN!" to content strategy.
We're both pretty excited about it.
AND...Erin surprised me and got our song, "Beautiful Subway Rider", turned into an actual, legit song, not just us pretending to sing. It's like, got words, and music, and a singer girl recorded it. And it's everything you could imagine...Keanu would be proud.
It's our new intro music. If you want to hear the song in all its glory, hang on after the end of the episode and you'll have your world forever changed by it's amazingness.
We'll be back next week with a real episode. And real show notes.
Even though nobody reads them.
Except search bots...
