How to Organize a Mastermind with Trello

Okay, my friend. It's time to dig into organizing that mastermind. We've already chatted about what a mastermind is, why you need one and how to start one... but organization is the key to making it all stick together.

There are so many ways to organize a mastermind but today, I'm going to show you how to use Trello.com to organize a mastermind group.

This collaborative tool will allow you to not only keep things organized but offers instant accountability because your entire mastermind group will have access to the account and the boards.

Don't worry, you're not giving out your passwords! Nope, we're going to start off by building a team.

Once you've built a team on Trello, you can create boards that fit your needs. I like to start with 4 specific boards.

The Admin Board

This is the board that will allow you to keep up with group leader tasks. For example, setting up a time to interview a new potential member or checking out new meeting software.

The Contact Board

Your members will most likely want to keep in touch outside of meetings and sometimes even privately. They may want to refer people over to other members. Whatever the reason, your people want to connect. And you can make it easy for them by having a contact board.

Use this board to add email addresses, websites, social media handles and whatever else your heart desires.

Monthly Goals

This board is all about breaking your monthly goals down into weekly tasks. This helps people work actively towards their big goals in easy, manageable steps while having that accountability that comes with others seeing what you're working on.

Weekly Goals

Okay, so this is where you break down your weekly tasks so that you stay productive and stop with the shiny squirrel syndrome.
